Today we examined primary source documents written by Alexander Hamilton (Federalist) and Thomas Jefferson (Democratic-Republican) to better understand more about these two influential thinkers and their political views.
This activity helps us to better understand Key Concept 3.2 by illuminating the American Ideal of Democracy and how Federalists and Anti-Federalists disagreed on what it should look like.
Tomorrow you’ll write an in-class LEQ that will be fully graded and put in the grade book! Some things you may want to study include:
-American Ideals from the Revolution, compromises to achieve those ideals, other examples of achieving those Ideals, and the success or failure of achieving those Ideals.
